[There's a short silence, before she realises she's supposed to leave a message now.]

O--oh. Hello, it's Jane-- Ah, but I suppose you already know that. Mmh... I paid a visit while you were sleeping. That is, Mr Crowley said you were asleep.

[Fumbling, she sighs.]

I showed him how to make tea for you when you wake up. He's very worried about you, and.. so am I. I do hope you feel better soon. When you do, I'll bring some of those cupcakes from the tea shop for you. [A beat.]

Let me know, won't you?

Jane. Yes, yes. Crowley did mention. That was very kind of you to check in on us. Thank you.

[The angel sounds like he's doing much better. A bit tired still, worn around the edges, but certainly much better than he had been. Getting rid of that awful crystal has made the world of difference.]

I'm feeling much better, thank you. It seems to have something to do with one of the colored crystals that have been falling about. I'm sorry for the worry.

[Oh, he does sound better! It's a weight off her that she hadn't realised she was carrying, and as soon as she hears his voice she sighs out a sound of relief.]

The crystals? Ah, but I've been around them a good deal and nothing happened to-- to. Oh. Oh, of course. How could I have been so stupid.

[She makes a sound of exasperation at herself.] I should have asked if you'd picked up anything that looked different! He only mentioned the one kind. I'm so glad you're alright.

It was my own fault. The green ones hadn't seemed to have any effect on anything, and I'd slipped it into my pocket and forgot all about it.

[Not his finest hour, but in his defense he'd been very intent on saving the plants and the garden center.]

Thank you. I'm rather glad too. Being cut off from so much of myself was... unpleasant.

[He missed his wings. And his powers.]

I can't possibly imagine.

[Sigh. But at least he's alright, which means... Crowley will be alright. And that's good, too. Jane can stop worrying about the both of them.]

I'd certainly rather not repeat it. But all's well for now.

[But oh that question. He considers, trying to remember.]

Oh! Yes. Well... Crowley threw it out the window, I think.

[Oh, for heaven's sake, Crowley... Yet, somehow, she's entirely unsurprised. Her lips purse for a moment.]

Ah. [She says.] Well, I'm so glad it was disposed of carefully.

...in retrospect it may have been more prudent to have found a more appropriate place forit.

[Oops. But at the time he was feeling like death and Crowley was concerned. Oh well.]

[She grimaces slightly, the tone of her voice taking on the air of 'yes perhaps that would have been better'.]

Well. I suppose it's done, now. As long as you're doing better. And I did mean what I said about the cakes.

You're very sweet, my dear. Thank you. For the concern and the offer of cakes. I'd be a fool to turn down either.

[He smiles. Jane is a lovely young woman. And he's not all that used to people being concerned for him. He hates to have worried, but it's nice in its way to know people care.]
